The Role of the Guide

This Montessori course focuses on empowering children as the central participants, with guides adopting a “minimally-invasive” teaching approach. The course covers principles such as respecting a child’s natural interest cycles and avoiding interruptions, fostering deep concentration by allowing independent exploration, and offering guidance only when requested. Participants will learn the guide’s role in environment preparation, activity observation, effective communication with families, promoting focused learning opportunities, presenting suitable activities, and striking a balance between intervention and patience.
